type

The type attribute, when added to the aml:default-description tag, allows you to attach the specified default description to either the beginning or end of a page's meta data description, should one exist.

In using this attribute there are 2 options ("prepend" and "append), which, respectively, will tack the default description onto either the front or back end of the meta data description.

In the template, simply enter the tag into the HTML window, along with the attribute and desired option, and the outcome should look something like this:

Note: In case this attribute is not included within the tag, the default description will only be used when no meta data description exists for the page in question.
