The dynamic attribute, when added to the sys:menu tag, allows you to generate Javascript for a menu that changes when users scroll their mouses over individual items.

In order to use the dynamic attribute, you must indicate which level of the website's hierarchy you would like the menu to be generated from, by entering any number from 1to n.

In the end, when entering the tag into the HTML window, it should look something like this:
