level

The level attribute, when added to the sys:menu tag, creates a menu displaying all of the pages that exist under a certain specified level of the active menu branch (the branch of the website hierarchy in which the current page is located).

The level can be expressed by entering any value from 1 to n.

In using this attribute, the resultant tag entered into the HTML window should look something like this:

<sys:menu level="2" />

Note: The level attribute cannot be used if the rootElementId attribute is included within the sys:menu tag.
