default

The default attribute, when added to the sys:variable tag, allows you to specify text that will be displayed should no content exist for the variable specified by the name attribute.

Simply enter the tag, along with the attribute and desired text, into the HTML window, and the outcome should look something like this:

<sys:variable default="Default Text" />
