How To Store Form SubmissionsIn order to store form submissions within the system, you must first access the desired form's "Settings" tab within the "XForms" administration. From here, you can click on the "Edit" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the "Integration" table and select the "XForm Storage" option, which is the standard storage method for form submissions. When selected, submissions will be stored in a table in the "Listing" tab of the form in question, with columns for all of the fields that you chose to be displayed in the listing upon your form's creation. In addition to simply viewing the details listed in the table, you can click on the "Filter" icon in order to locate particular submissions based on whatever criteria you specify. You can also make use of the "Export" icon, which allows you to export the list of submissions, whether before or after narrowing it down with the "Filter" option, to some CSV file that you can specify in the window that appears. In this window, you will also be able to specify how you would like the entries to be separated in the CSV file, by selecting the desired option from the "Field Separator" drop-down menu. For more information on XML Storage, please see our " Listing" section. |
