Attribute: design

The design attribute allows you to select a design that will be used to determine the appearance of the news feed on your website.

In order to specify the design to be used in the presentation of the news feed, you must first determine its ID, which can be found in the "Setup" section of the "News" administration.

Simply select "Object Types" from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen and click on the name of the desired news object type that will be included within the news feed.

Here, you will see a table labeled "Designs," in which you can find the "Design ID" for every design that is currently available.

Back in the desired page's "Source" editor window, simply enter the sys:news-list tag, along with the design attribute and desired Design ID, and the outcome should look something like this:
