Attribute: news-type

The news-type attribute can be used to limit the news items included within the news feed, year selector, and/or month selector to ones of a specified object type (events, webinars, press releases, etc.).

In order to specify the desired object type, you must insert the associated system ID, which can be found within the "Setup" section of the "News" module administration.

Once within the "Setup" section, simply select "Object Types" from the left-hand menu, and then click on the desired object type in order to view its respective ID (for example, "SYS5").

Back in the desired page's "Source" editor window, simply enter the tag(s) for the news feed, year selector, and/or month selector, along with the attribute and desired system ID, and the outcome should look something like one of the following examples:
